Our EYFS children have been learning about Thanksgiving this week.  Pre-School created a pictogram of their favourite Thanksgiving images and Reception made turkeys using their handprint cut outs. 

Year 1 enjoyed reinforcing their understanding of place value in teen numbers by creating tens and ones using 10p coins and 1p coins. They have shown that they have a great eye for spotting tens and units in a 2-digit number. 

Year 2 had some amazing insights and interpretations of poems they read and discussed in groups this week. 

There is a definite feeling that Christmas is on its way in Pre-Prep.  Year 1 and 2 have been creating scenery and props for their Nativity and Reception have made a beautiful classroom Advent Calendar.
