Holly (Head of Pimlico) and Rhianna (Head of MacLeod) spoke with the new Head and Deputy Head pupil at Durham School Doha and here is what Rhianna had to say about it:

On Tuesday morning Holly and I held a Zoom meeting with the newly appointed Head and Deputy Head of Durham School for Girls Doha. The conservation we had was full of enthusiasm for bringing the school together through competitions similar to those we hold in Durham. Shaikha and Zara are both keen to engage the younger members of the school and maintain the family atmosphere that is important to them despite a large number being at home. Holly and I shared our experiences of maintaining house spirit over lockdown and encouraged them to be creative. The girls introduced us to their different house names and mascots, they also spoke about the school in general and their aims for the coming year. Holly and I were delighted that they share the same enthusiasm as us and will continue to stay in contact with Shaikha and Zara.
