After their half term break the children have all come back refreshed and enthusiastic about their learning.  There has been a lot of discussion and creativity around the theme of Fireworks and Bonfire Night this week. 

Pre-School have linking their all activities to bonfires and autumn.  Reception have made chalk Catherine Wheels, paper rockets, which they flew around the courtyard, and chocolate apples.  Year 1 wrote ‘Rocket’ acrostic poems and designed and created their own rockets.  Year 2 watched and listened to virtual fireworks and then wrote rhyming poems about what they could see and hear.
