There have all sorts of special events in Pre-School and Pre-Prep this week.
All week the children have been taking part in the Children in Need ‘Five to Thrive’ activities which were all about mental and emotional wellbeing. This culminated in a live workout on Friday morning with The Body Coach, Joe Wicks, and the children also came to School dressed in the clothes that express who they are.
Reception also celebrated Diwali by making clay diyas, Rangoli patterns and yummy sweets.
On Wednesday Pre-School and Pre-Prep took part in the whole School Act of Remembrance led by Canon Michael Everitt. Year 1 had made their own poppies and Year 2 had written and created thank you poppies to hang in the tree outside School. All the children had also created a poppy from the bottom of plastic bottles which could be seen all around the front of School. Pre-School then made their own poppy wreaths out of egg boxes.
We have been overwhelmed by the generous donations to our School Just Giving page for Children in Need, thank you very much to everyone who has donated.
