Talking about his recent acceptance, Piers said:
I wanted to apply to Auckland University so that I could experience another culture. I wanted to go to Auckland University because my family lived in Auckland and said it’s a great university and especially due to covid I want to take that chance and experience it. I really like sport so the opportunity to do a sport based degree in a country that is big on sport excites me.
Piers said:
I really hope to meet new people and experience the New Zealand culture. Ultimately, I want to get a good degree which I can then use to pursue a career in sport. Mrs Thompson is class though she’s helped a lot and is a great Head of Sixth Form because she get what pupils think instead of trying to be too formal and regimental.
